The Connection Table

for Singles
Application-only, high-end dining experience for commitment ready singles.

Modern dating has become hyper-fixated on novelty, superficiality and counterproductive fast-tracking. The Connection Table slows it right down. Guests are greeted with a beautiful table, a delicious three-course meal, and a fun and effective game of questions that takes you somewhere a swipe never could. The group is deliberately application and invite only, so it is a carefully curated table of commitment-ready singles.

How it works

Through a structured sequence of guided conversation, facilitated across three courses and anchored by the Connection Cards, guests move from surface-level interaction to meaningful self-disclosure.

1
I see me
Introspection

Questions that help participants reflect on who they are, what they value & how they experience themselves & life.

2
You see me
Observation

Questions that invite the other person to reflect back strengths, qualities, gifts, patterns, or impressions they see in you.

3
I let you see me
Vulnerability
(Because the best things in life happen outside of our comfort zone)

Questions that encourage deeper disclosure of something meaningful, personal & authentic.

The result is an evening that leaves guests with a deepened understanding of themselves, and a much deeper connection with others.
The experience

Dinner, with depth.

A three-hour dinner at a restaurant, facilitated by Monica Wadwa, a coach and speaker on human connection and self-connection. Guided by the Connection Cards, guests move from first impressions to real conversation, with depth over performance.

What guests are saying

“

What a brilliant game! I’m going to be honest with you, I normally don’t like deep questions – they make me feel uncomfortable. But this made it fun and easy. I want to play again with my family and friends now!

Erika, 32, PWC
“

It’s such a fantastic concept! You need to get this out to more people. There’s nothing like it.

Tina, 34, Founder & CEO
“

Brilliant game. Felt much more connected to the people sitting around me after. We had a lot of fun playing it.

3
Introduction to the Connection Cards

Monica explains the three stages of the cards & how the evening will unfold.

4
Round one — I see me

Cards are distributed. Alternating guests draw a card, reflect inward, then share their response with the person to their left. That person responds in turn.

5
Starters are served
6
Round two — You see me

The second set of cards circulates to the other guests. Each person turns toward the person to their right — asking, listening, and being asked in return.

7
Main courses are served
8
Round three — I see you seeing me

The final round returns to the first set of guests. Each person turns first to their left, then to their right — asking and being asked. The depth of sharing reaches its peak.

9
Desserts are served
10
Sharing

Guests are invited to share any reflections, moments, or insights from the evening. A natural, unstructured close.

11
Closing speech

Monica rounds things off with a closing speech about the importance of human connection & our willingness to cultivate it with others & ourselves.

12
Group photo

A group photo is taken, which will be emailed to all guests to cherish the memory.
