Small talk has its place. But somewhere between “What do you do?” and “Where are you from?”, there is an entire world of conversation we’re rarely invited into.
Through a structured sequence of guided conversation, facilitated across three courses and anchored by the Connection Cards, guests move from surface-level interaction to meaningful self-disclosure.
Questions that help participants reflect on who they are, what they value & how they experience themselves & life.
Questions that invite the other person to reflect back strengths, qualities, gifts, patterns, or impressions they see in you.
Questions that encourage deeper disclosure of something meaningful, personal & authentic.

When people feel seen, they stop performing and start collaborating. The Connection Table gives teams a structured, safe way to move beyond job titles and small talk, building the trust, belonging and psychological safety that stronger collaboration depends on.

What a brilliant game! I’m going to be honest with you, I normally don’t like deep questions – they make me feel uncomfortable. But this made it fun and easy. I want to play again with my family and friends now!
It’s such a fantastic concept! You need to get this out to more people. There’s nothing like it.
Brilliant game. Felt much more connected to the people sitting around me after. We had a lot of fun playing it.
How the evening unfolds, from the first welcome to the final photo.
Guests arrive and settle into the space. Light socialising before the experience formally begins.
Monica introduces herself, her work, and the intention behind the evening.
Monica explains the three stages of the cards & how the evening will unfold.
Cards are distributed. Alternating guests draw a card, reflect inward, then share their response with the person to their left. That person responds in turn.
The second set of cards circulates to the other guests. Each person turns toward the person to their right — asking, listening, and being asked in return.
The final round returns to the first set of guests. Each person turns first to their left, then to their right — asking and being asked. The depth of sharing reaches its peak.
Guests are invited to share any reflections, moments, or insights from the evening. A natural, unstructured close.
Monica rounds things off with a closing speech about the importance of human connection & our willingness to cultivate it with others & ourselves.
A group photo is taken, which will be emailed to the organiser to cherish the memory.
Tell us about your team and your event, and we will design the experience around you.
Whether you’re looking to bring Human Connection Experiences into your organisation, invite me to speak, collaborate on an event, or explore the work for yourself, I’d love to hear from you.
